What I Offer
Class
Our classes will be a maximum of 8 people with lots of opportunities to talk, ask questions, learn cultural cues, and to speak clearly and comfortably. We will use a hybrid approach of 2 in person classes and 3 virtual classes that will last an hour. Emphasis will be placed on conversation and its use in the local culture. This includes outings to local shops, volunteer service and practice in different settings.
Private Tutoring
You will get individualized one on one time with Sonya to work on difficult pronunciation, grammar or cultural issues. Each session will last an hour and will be customized to fit you and your personal needs. We will spend time in different settings and challenge your English ability to grow to new levels so that you feel confident and at ease in different settings. These might included shopping, cafes, doctor’s office, schools, businesses, or recreation centers, etc.
